Bulfinch Announces Bosse Grand Opening in Natick
94,000 SF Facility will offer State’s Largest Indoor Pickleball Facility and a Culinary experience
An affiliate of The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a commercial real estate and investment firm, is pleased to announce the grand opening of Bosse, in collaboration with DJ Bosse and noted Chef Chris Coombs. The new space will feature a top tier pickleball facility and culinary destination at 310 Speen Street adjacent to the Natick Mall.
Bosse specializes in creating cutting-edge athletic and entertainment experiences tailored for sports lovers and competitors with an emphasis on pickleball, dining and wellness. The Natick location is set to transform the local sports and entertainment scene, offering a unique, family-friendly atmosphere.
Designed by D.J. Bosse and Chris Coombs, this complex will stand as Massachusetts’ largest indoor pickleball facility, boasting 21 courts and a dedicated fitness and wellness space that integrates skill development and recovery. The expansive 97,000-square-foot space will also include lounge areas, event venues, a sports theatre, dart lounges, a cold plunge, retail space, golf simulators, and various dining options curated by Chef Chris Coombs.
“Today marks an exciting milestone for both Bulfinch and the Natick community,” said Mike Wilcox, Managing Director of Leasing at Bulfinch. “The grand opening of Bosse represents not just a new complex, but a vibrant entertainment hub where families and friends can gather to play pickleball and enjoy exceptional dining. We’re proud to help introduce this space and can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
Formerly Neiman Marcus, the property is easily accessible at the intersection of Route 9 and the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). The new complex is poised to become a destination for sports enthusiasts and families seeking a blend of recreation and community engagement. DraftKings is partnering with Bosse on the Sports Lounge, a 21-and-older site with promotions and featured live sports. Franklin Sports, a Stoughton-based company, the exclusive pickleball equipment partner for Bosse will provide the space with pickleball equipment and oversee Franklin Stadium Court and Franklin Training Corner.
“We are thrilled to introduce Bosse into the Natick Mall,” said D.J. Bosse. “This state-of-the-art facility is designed to be a welcoming destination where everyone can come together to play pickleball, share great meals, and create lasting memories with family, friends, and the community.”
Bulfinch has a proven track record of repurposing retail spaces into entertainment and health and wellness hubs, reshaping the landscape of urban leisure. Bulfinch repositioned the former Atrium Mall in Chestnut Hill into Life Time Center, an innovation destination for medical and wellness, anchored by Life Time Fitness and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Hospital facility. Similarly, a former Dick’s Sporting Goods location near the Westgate Mall in Brockton has found new life as the Urban Air Adventure Park, offering thrilling experiences for visitors of all ages, is scheduled to open in December 2024.
