Bulfinch Wins BOMA Boston TOBY+ Industry Awards

Bulfinch Assistant Vice President Cayla Franco Recognized as Rising Professional of the Year
An affiliate of The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), a commercial real estate and investment firm, is excited to announce Cayla Franco, Assistant Vice President, Property Manager received Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) Boston’s 2024 TOBY+ Industry Award for Rising Professional of the Year. Bulfinch also took home the Boston Life Science Building of the Year Award for Cambridge Discovery Park Building 400-500.
BOMA Boston is a leader in commercial real estate providing members with the resources to thrive in the ever-changing industry. The organization helps enhance the professionalism of commercial real estate ownership and management through effective leadership, education, networking and advocacy. Bulfinch was recognized at the BOMA TOBY+ Industry Award’s Gala on November 14, where the best and brightest in property management, building operations, and service in the Commercial Real Estate Industry were celebrated. Members from all over the state came together to find out who won the coveted TOBY+ Industry Awards.
The BOMA International Rising Professional of the Year Award recognizes emerging professionals dedicated to expanding their knowledge of the commercial real estate industry. This award highlights successful emerging leaders demonstrating exceptional drive, dedication and the potential to share the future of commercial real estate.
As AVP, Property Manager Cayla oversees Bulfinch’s Osborn Triangle, a premier life science campus in Kendall Square spanning over 677,000 SF, Cayla has demonstrated remarkable leadership and expertise. Cayla’s adept management of this three-property campus with tenants from globally renowned pharmaceutical companies is a testament to her capabilities and dedication. Her proven success managing property operations and improving tenant relations has earned her promotions as well as elevated her management to an additional three properties for a total of six buildings (960,000 SF) under her management.

Franco’s recognition highlights her exceptional contributions at Bulfinch, where she has demonstrated leadership in both property management, asset strategy, tenant engagement and giving back. Her ability to collaborate across departments and drive success in a fast-paced industry has been key to her success.

This award is a testament to her hard work in commercial real estate industry.” An active member of BOMA, Cayla continues to seek out professional development opportunities including her participation in BOMA’s Emerging Professionals Committee as well as her acceptance into the 2024 BOMA Women’s Leadership Initiative. Cayla is also a member of the Kendall Square Association’s Emerging Leaders Group. In an industry that is predominantly male, Cayla is dedicated to advancing women. She is a member of CREW Boston, Bulfinch’s Women’s Resource Group and is also a mentor to young women on Bulfinch’s Property Management team.
